Hunter x Hunter Arena Battle Smartphone Game Announced

NTV, ForGroove develop card battle game
This year's 39th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that NTV and ForGroove are developing a new smartphone game based on Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter manga titled Hunter X Hunter Arena Battle. DeNA will distribute the game. The card battle game will be free to play, but will have optional in-game purchases.
The magazine announcement also links to a countdown site and a teaser website. The countdown ends on September 2 at 8:00 pm JST (7:00 am EDT).
The latest smartphone game in the franchise, Hunter X Hunter Greed Adventure, launched on December 5.
