Series inspired by franchise's Official Card Game debuted on Friday
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga artist Masashi Sato launched the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures manga in the August issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine on Friday. The series is related to the franchise's Official Card Game, which is abbreviated as "OCG."
Masahiro Hikokubo launched the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga with Sato's illustrations in 2009, and the series ended in 2015. The series adapts the television anime of the same name, which aired from 2008 to 2011.
Viz Media released the manga in print in North America. The series also launched digitally through the company's Shonen Jump website and subscription service in December.
