FromSoftware Reveals Elden Ring Action RPG
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Microsoft revealed during its E3 press conference on Sunday that FromSoftware is developing a new action RPG titled Elden Ring. The game will ship for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but FromSoftware did not reveal a release date. Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls, Dark Souls III, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) and author George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones) collaborated in creating the game's world. Bandai Namco describes the project as "FromSoftware's largest game to-date."
Martin previously stated in May that he had consulted on a Japanese game. Miyazaki stated in January that FromSoftware was working on two unannounced games.
FromSoftware most recently released its Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice game on March 22.
