Miru Tights Anime's Lead Voice Actresses Sing Ending Theme in 3 Separate Solos
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official website for the Miru Tights web anime revealed on Wednesday that main cast members Haruka Tomatsu, Yōko Hikasa, and Aya Suzaki will each sing their own solo version of the anime's ending theme song "True Days" as their respective characters Ren, Yua, and Homi. Each week's new episode will feature one of the three renditions of the song. (The first episode will premiere with Ren's version on May 11, followed by Yua's version on May 18, and Homi's version on May 25.) Shade composed and arranged the song, and Kokoro Sagara wrote the lyrics.
The cast (from left to right in image below) stars Yōko Hikasa as Yua Nakabeni, who likes 30 denier tights (sheer); Haruka Tomatsu as Ren Aikawa, who likes 60 denier tights (opaque); and Aya Suzaki as Homi Moegi, who likes 110 denier tights (thick).
Ai Kayano also stars as Yuiko Okuzumi (seen below), the 27-year-old homeroom teacher who is popular among the students. She likes 20 denier tights (sheer).
The anime will debut on Nico Nico Channel and dAnime Store on Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 p.m., with new episodes every Saturday. The anime will stream on YouTube worldwide outside of Japan with English and Chinese subtitles.
Yomu, an illustrator whose work typically focuses on women in tights, wrote the original story.
Yuki Ogawa (Ōya-san wa Shishunki!) is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab and Fumiaki Maruto (Classroom Crisis, Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend) is writing the series. Yukari Hibino is designing the characters, and Shade is composing the music.
