Funimation Adds YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world. to Spring Streaming Lineup

Funimation announced additional anime titles on Tuesday that it will begin streaming on its FunimationNow streaming service this month. The company revealed that it is simulcasting the television anime of Hiroyuki Kanno's Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o Utau Shōjo YU-NO (YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world.) visual novel on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. EDT, and a simuldub will premiere later. The anime is streaming in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
The anime premiered on AT-X on Tuesday at 11:00 p.m., and it is also airing on Tokyo MX, ABC TV, and BS Fuji. The series will run for 26 episodes over the course of half a year (or two cours).
Tetsuo Hirakawa (Grimoire of Zero) is directing the anime, and Mai Otsuka (This Art Club Has a Problem!, Shakugan no Shana) is designing the characters. Studio feel. is producing the animation, and GENCO is producing.
Director Hirakawa previously said that the anime will depict all the characters and all the routes from the original game. While the game unfolded from the first-person perspective of the protagonist Takuya, the anime will also depict the relationships of the girls around Takuya. Hirakawa vowed that the anime "will outdo the game in dirty jokes," that Mio "will be even more tsundere," and that Kanna "will be even more mysterious."
The companies first announced the project in December 2016.
Funimation also confirmed that it will stream the We Never Learn: BOKUBEN and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime in the United States and Canada. New episodes will debut on Saturdays. Aniplex of America announced on Tuesday that it has licensed both series and will stream them on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow.
The previously revealed titles in Funimation's spring streaming lineup include:
- Attack on Titan: Season 3 Part 2
- Fruits Basket
- Fairy Tail Final Season
- Black Clover Season 2
- One Piece
