The project is a collaboration between Shogakukan, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, and Sony Music Communications, and features a theme of rap and hip-hop.
Pie in the sky (Ahare! Meisaku-kun, GraP & RodeO) is producing the anime. Subaru Kimura is starring in the show as the character Yōhei.
The description on the YouTube video above states that the anime will feature "onarap," combining the words for "fart" (onara) and "rap." The video also introduces Yōhei and states that he "powers up" after eating potatoes.
