One Piece Bounty Rush Smartphone Game Slated for 2019

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Tuesday that its One Piece Bounty Rush iOS and Android game will launch in 2019. The company also began streaming a teaser trailer for the game.
In addition, the game's official Facebook account posted several character videos for the game.
The game will feature four-vs-four team matches in a treasure contest. The goal of each timed match will be to gather the most Berries. Players can play with other players worldwide. Both "high-impact brawls" and "capture-the-flag skirmishes" will be available.
Characters in the game will be categorized as one of five different classes, and more than 40 characters will be available. The character lineup will include Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Chopper, Arlong, Buggy, Crocodile, and Shanks.
The game was previously slated for spring and will be free to play with in-game purchases.
Bandai Namco Entertainment previously released the One Piece Treasure Cruise, One Piece Thousand Storm, and One Piece Grand Collection smartphone games for the franchise.
Bandai Namco Entertainment also released the One Piece Grand Cruise VR game on May 22 and will release the One Piece: World Seeker game on March 16.
