Okazu-kun Manga About 4 Men in Ad Agency Gets Live-Action Show

Libre Publishing's Kurofune manga website revealed on Thursday that Otokuni's Kōkoku Gaisha, Danshi Ryō no Okazu-kun (Okazu-kun in the the Ad Agency's Men's Dorm) manga will get a live-action series adaptation.
The series will star:
- Mario Kuroba as Kazu "Okazu" Nishio, a young businessman
- Tsubasa Sakiyama as Keisuke Higashira, Kazu's colleague in marketing
- Katsuya Kobayashi as Ippei Kita, an older art director
- Masashi Ōyama as Tadashi Nangō, who works in accounting
Other cast members include Miwa Hashimoto, Masahiro Hisano, and Takeshi Kongōchi.
The series will premiere on TV Kanagawa and Nippon BS Broadcasting on January 15, and will also begin airing on TV Saitama and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting on January 16, and on KBS Kyoto on January 18. Mitsuhiro Mihara is directing the series, and Hiroko Kanasugi is penning the script. MOKU is composing the music.
The manga centers on four men living together in a dormitory. All four men work together in the same busy ad agency, and their only time to relax and unwind is when they're experiencing the joy of food together every Friday night.
Otokuni serializes the manga in Kurofune. Libre Publishing shipped the manga's third compiled book volume on Thursday.
