Super Dragon Ball Heroes Promotional Anime's Trailer, July 1 Online Premiere Revealed

The official website for Carddass' Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission card game began streaming a trailer on June 21 for the game's promotional anime project.
The promotional anime will depict the story's "Prison Planet" arc from Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission, and the first episode will debut online on July 1. The first episode will also screen at the "Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe Tour 2018" tournament event for the game at Aeon Lake Town in Saitama prefecture on July 1. The show's second episode will screen at the "Jump Victory Carnival Tokyo Kaijō" event on July 16, and will also stream online on the same day.
Toei Animation is returning to animate the promotional anime, and Shueisha is overseeing the project.
The anime is based on the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card battle game series, which launched in 2010. The latest installment in the game series is Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission, which Bandai released in arcades in Japan on March 8.
Bandai Namco Games released the first Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission game, a Nintendo 3DS port of the Dragon Ball Heroes game, in 2013. Bandai Namco Games released the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 Nintendo 3DS game in 2014, and released the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X game for the 3DS in April 2017.
Dragon Ball Super premiered in Japan in July 2015 on Fuji TV and other channels, and ended on March 25. Original manga author Akira Toriyama confirmed in his comments that the show is ending "for now." A new Dragon Ball Super film is slated for December 14 in Japan, with the staff aiming for a global release on the same date.
