Attack on Titan: Before the Fall Manga Reaches Final Arc
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The August issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine revealed on Tuesday that Ryo Suzukaze and Satoshi Shiki's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall manga will enter its final arc in the magazine's next issue in July. The manga will have a color opening page in the issue.
Kodansha Comics publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story:
Humanity has learned to live in complacency behind its high walls, protected from the giant Titans. But when a Titan-worshipping cult opens one of the gates, a Titan wreaks havoc, consuming the cultists. After the rampage is over, two young Survey Corps members are shocked to discover a pregnant woman's partially digested corpse - with her baby still alive inside it! What will the fate of this "child of the Titans" be? And how will humanity learn to cope with the Titan threat?
The manga adapts Suzukaze and character designer THORES Shibamoto's novel series of the same name. The novels are a spinoff of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga. Suzukaze and Shiki launched the manga in Monthly Shonen Sirius in 2013. Kodansha published the manga's 14th volume in Japan on April 9, and it will ship the 15th volume on August 9. Kodansha Comics published the 13th volume (seen right) in North America on April 3.
