The DLC will also feature a new theme song by Yoko Shimomura. Square Enix plans to release the four DLC "back to back" between early 2019 in winter and through spring.
The game's Comrades multiplayer mode will also see two new updates in summer and winter this year, and will also see a standalone release this summer.
The PC version of the game will also get a character editor this spring for the main game so players can create their own protagonist. The PC version will also receive a level editor this fall.
The game will also have a collaboration with the Shadow of the Tomb Raider game.
Final Fantasy XV went on sale worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2016. The game's Pocket Edition for iOS and Android launched on February 9.
The game received a Royal Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One on March 6. The new release includes the previously released Season Pass DLC, as well as other features. The Windows Edition also launched on the same day.
