Omaera Zenin Mendokusai! Romantic Comedy Manga Gets Live-Action Film
posted on by Bayleigh Baker
The official website for Flex Comix Inc.'s web magazine Comic Meteor announced on Wednesday that TOBI's Omaera Zenin Mendokusai! (You're All Such a Bother!) school romantic comedy manga will receive a live-action film adaptation this year.
The manga tells the story of Kunihiko Kunitachi (bottom center in image above), a Japanese language high school teacher who is always scolding his student Kazumi Kazumiya (top center). Kazumi keeps asking him to be her friend, and going to the teacher's office to play games. Then there is the "troublesome bitch" Riho Kurihara (bottom left), the tsundere student council president Eiko Enomoto (top left), Shiori (bottom right) who gives sudden kisses out of the blue, and the fellow teacher Koyuki (top right), Kunihiko's "oasis" in the middle of the chaos.
The manga launched on Comic Meteor in 2014. Holp Shuppan published the seventh volume in September 2017.
Yahoo! Comics' Flex Comix Blood web anthology published TOBI's Megane na Kanojo romantic comedy manga from 2007 to 2008. SoftBank Creative published the first and final compiled volume of the manga in 2008. The manga inspired a four-episode original video anime (OVA) series in 2010.
