The March issue of Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine revealed on Friday that Tomohiro Marukawa will resume his Mahō Shōjo Yon-gō-chan (Magicannon Girl Mk.IV) manga in the April issue on March 2.
Marukawa launched the manga in the May 2014 issue of Young Ace, and Kadokawa published the first volume in February 2015.
The manga is based on a fictional anime series that exists inside Marukawa's The World of Narue romantic comedy manga.
Marukawa launched The World of Narue in Monthly Shōnen Ace in 1999, and ended the series in December 2012 at 13 volumes. The manga won a Seiun Award in 2014.
The World of Narue inspired a 12-episode television anime series in 2003. Central Park Media's CPM Manga imprint published four volumes of the manga in North America, while the company's U.S. Manga Corps label released the television anime. ADV Films reissued the anime in a DVD collection in 2009.
