Bandai Namco Entertainment America and Europe announced on Tuesday that the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game will ship in the West on January 19. Bandai Namco Entertainment also began streaming a new trailer for the game on Tuesday. The video previews the main characters and includes animated footage.
People who pre-order the game in the West will receive four Digimon: Omnimon NX, Sistermon Ciel and Blanc, Leopardmon NX, and Crusadermon NX. People who pre-order will also receive four exclusive costumes: V. Uchida Costume, Summer Camp T-Shirt, Beelzebumon Emblem T-Shirt, and Inoden School Attire.
Additionally, Bandai Namco Entertainment America revealed that the characters Yuuko Kamishiro and Kyoko Kuremi will return in the game. The company describes the characters:
Yuuko Kamishiro is the daughter of Satoru Kamishiro, the former president of Kamishiro Enterprise of EDEN — a next-gen Web service. She has joined forces with Hudie help investigate the correlation between her dad's suicide and a group of runaway hackers. Kyoko Kuremi is a mysterious private detective, specializing in cyber-related cases. She is known for keeping her cool under all circumstances as well as her unique one-of-a-kind tastes.

The release will feature the original Japanese dub and English and German subtitles. The game will be available physically and digitally for the PS4 and digitally for the PS Vita.
The game will ship in Japan on December 14. In addition to the standard edition, the game will also receive a "Digimon 20th Anniversary Box" release, which includes a "television anime sound edition" of the game, an art book, an original soundtrack CD, download codes for DLC content, and a special packaging box.
Like the first Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory will be a "raising RPG" that takes place in the real and digital worlds. The game will tell the story about the "other side of Cyber Sleuth," set in the same setting as the first game, and where at some point Dagomon will appear in Odaiba. There will be more than 320 Digimon that can be raised in the game.
The game features a new protagonist who dives into the world of hackers after he is branded a criminal for an incident he has no memory of. His name, which can be changed, is Keisuke Amasawa (Bandai Namco Entertainment also spells his last name as Amazawa). Players will collect “Hacker's Memory” items to uncover the truth about characters and events in the story.
The new game will share some maps from the previous game, but will add 30 new maps for a total of 90 maps. The game will ship with the original Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth game included, which will be the first time the game will be released on the PS4 in Japan.
Naoki Akamine is launching a one-shot manga adaptation of the game in the January issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine on November 21.
