Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Manga Has 1.5 Million Copies in Print

The third volume of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card manga announced on Wednesday that the manga has 1.5 million copies in print. The Cardcaptor Sakura manga franchise as a whole has 16.5 million copies in print.
A limited edition of the manga volume bundled the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen Prologue - Sakura to Futatsu no Kuma video anime on DVD. The DVD includes English subtitles.
The anime held its world premiere at Anime Expo in July.
CLAMP launched the sequel manga series in Nakayoshi in June 2016. Kodnansha Comics is releasing the manga digitally and in print in English. The manga is inspiring a television anime adaptation that will premiere on NHK in January 2018.
