Crunchyroll Adds Hina Logic: From Luck & Logic Anime to Summer Lineup

1st episode of latest series in Luck & Logic franchise available now

Crunchyroll announced on Saturday that is streaming the Hina Logic: From Luck & Logic anime adaptation of Bushiroad's Luck & Logic card game. Crunchyroll premiered the first episode at 12:00 a.m. EDT on Saturday. The series is available for members in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia, and Latin America.

While the anime will premiere on television in Japan on July 1, the anime premiered online in Japan at 12:00 p.m. JST on Saturday on Bandai Channel, d Anime Store, Hikari TV, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai. The anime will have 12 episodes.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

On a spring day when the cherry blossoms have started to fall, the naïve princess of a small country, Lion begins her days at a school in Hokkaido. The school houses a special facility run by ALCA that trains Logicalists who protect the peace of the world. Lion has a lot of unique classmates in Class 1-S, including Nina, a Logicalist. This is the story of the energetic and adorable days the Logicalists-in-training spend together. It's time to Trance!

Doga Kobo is animating the series. Hiroaki Akagi (episode director for Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, GJ Club) is directing the series, and Yukie Sugawara (Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online II) is handling the series composition. The anime features original character designs by Yū Akinashi (Love, Election and Chocolate), Mari Shimazaki, Ariko, and Kana Kuramoto. Kyōko Nagata is credited with the original animation character plans, and Satomi Kurita (animation director for Haikyu!!, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) and Manabu Nii (Karneval) are the character designers. Ken Itō (Handa-kun) is composing the show's music at Lantis. TRUE performs the show's opening theme song "Butterfly Effector," and main voice cast members Madoka Asahina, Hibiku Yamamura, and Natsumi Takamori perform the ending theme song "Baby Bird ~Gakuen Logic~."
