Dark Rose Valkyrie PS4 Game's Opening Movie Streamed
posted on by Karen Ressler
Idea Factory International began streaming the North American and European opening movies for its Dark Rose Valkyrie PlayStation 4 game on Friday. The videos are the same except for the release date at the end: the game ships on June 6 for North America and on June 9 in Europe. The game will be available physically and digitally.
The video features the opening theme son "Duality" by Sayaka Sasaki
Idea Factory International also released new screenshots of the game's "interview" system, where the player is given a set number of questions to ask the characters to determine if one of them is lying about something.
The game takes place in a world where a "chimera virus" threatens humanity. The protagonist Asahi Shiramine (Daisuke Namikawa) leads Valkyrie, a special unit dedicated to taking down chimeras.
The project reunited Tales role-playing game series veterans Kousuke Fujishima (Ah My Goddess, Sakura Wars) and Takumi Miyajima (Fate/Zero). Fujishima designed the game's characters, while Miyajima wrote the game's scenario.
The game shipped in Japan on July 21. The project is part of the new brand titled IDEA FACTORY INTERNATIONAL, and the game marks the first time Idea Factory's California-based overseas representative Idea Factory International has been part of a game's production.
