Nana Mizuki Performs Theme Songs For 4th Symphogear Anime, 1st Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection Film

Voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki announced at a concert event in Shimane prefecture on Sunday that she is performing the opening theme song for Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ, the fourth Senki Zesshō Symphogear anime series. She also announced she is performing a theme song and an insert song for the first Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection anime film.
Mizuki's singles for both projects will both ship simultaneously on July 19. Both singles will feature three songs. Mizuki released her latest album, Neogene Creation (pictured at right), on December 21.
Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ will premiere in July. Mizuki is also playing the role of Tsubasa Kazanari in the anime. Katsumi Ono, director of the second and third Symphogear anime, is returning to direct the fourth series, again at Satelight. Elements Garden is again handling the music. Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu are credited as the original creators. The show also features a returning cast. In addition to the upcoming fourth season, a fifth season and game have also been green-lit.
The first Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection film will open on July 22. Mizuki is also playing the role of Fate T. Harlaown in the film. A previous trailer for the film featured Mizuki's 2010 single "Silent Bible," which was used for the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's Portable: The Battle of Aces PlayStation Portable game.
The film project is planned as two films, although the second film's release date has not yet been revealed. Masaki Tsuzuki is credited with the original work, and is also penning the script. Takayuki Hamana (The Prince of Tennis, Library War, Appleseed XIII) is directing the film at Seven Arcs Pictures. Kana Hashidate (Dog Days) is drawing the character designs, and Shochiku is distributing the film.
