This year's 15th issue of Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday magazine revealed on Wednesday that singer/songwriter duo Softly is performing the ending theme song "Suki Nano Kana" (I wonder if it's love) for the third television anime season inspired by Rumiko Takahashi's RIN-NE (Kyōkai no Rinne) manga.
The additional cast for the new season includes:
Miyuki Sawashiro as Anematsuri Annette Hitomi
Megumi Hayashibara as Otome Rokudō
The RIN-NE 2 television anime series premiered in Japan last April. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for home video.
The anime's first 25-episode season premiered in April 2015. Crunchyroll also streamed the series as it aired, and Sentai Filmworks released the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in two sets in July and September.
Takahashi launched the manga in Shonen Sunday in 2009 after ending her long-running series Inuyasha in the same magazine. The RIN-NE manga's 35th compiled book volume will ship in Japan on March 17. Viz Media is releasing the manga in English, and it will release the 23rd compiled volume on March 14.
