The June issue of Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday S magazine revealed on Monday that Kazurou Inoue (Midori Days) will launch the Shitei Bōryoku Shōjo Shiomi-chan (Designated Violent Girl Shiomi-chan) manga in the magazine's July issue, which will ship on May 25.
The June issue of Shōnen Sunday S describes the manga as follows:
The boss of a scaaaary organization undergoes plastic surgery and becomes a beautiful young girl!? A heroic, heartfelt school comedy is whipped up by the toughest new heroine in Japan who has gorgeous looks and a wicked heart. This is what it means to be cool!
Inoue published the Midori no Hibi (Midori Days, pictured at right) manga in Shonen Sunday from 2002-2004. Viz Media published the eight-volume series in English in 2005-2006. The manga inspired a 13-episode television anime series in 2004 that Media Blasters released on DVD in North America.
