The official website of Japanese video game developer Silicon Studio announced on Monday that the studio is collaborating with fellow developer Mistwalker to create a new game.
Silicon Studio released a teaser image for the game (pictured at right), but the game's title, content, release window, and other information are still unknown.
Silicon Studio developed Bravely Default for the Nintendo 3DS and its sequel, Bravely Second: End Layer, which is scheduled to launch in North America in spring 2016. The company also developed 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PlayStation 3. Additionally, Silicon Studio creates rendering engines used in games such as Final Fantasy XV, Gunslinger Stratos, and The Witch and the Hundred Knight.
Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi founded Mistwalker in 2004 after leaving Square Enix. The studio has developed games such as Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, The Last Story, and Terra Battle. Sakaguchi shared concepts designs for a new project last month.
