The official preview website for this year's 20th issue of Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine is listing that Gakuen Alice's Tachibana Higuchi will end her Anne no Magomago Tosho Land (Anne's Confusing Literary Land) manga in the issue on September 18.
Higuchi launched the series in Hana to Yume in August 2014. Hakusensha published the manga's second compiled volume (pictured below left) in June.
The story begins when a suspicious cult called the "Confusion Cult" enter the town. The god they worship is in fact a baby. The red-haired protagonist of the manga named Anne attends the school that the cult founded, and even though she is not popular, she is still loved by her friends. As she continues to rebel against the cult, the door to a mysterious world opens.
Higuchi ended her long-running Gakuen Alice manga in the same magazine in 2013. Tokyopop published 16 volumes of the manga before the company shut down. The company also published four volumes of Higuchi's earlier Portrait of M & N manga.
Gakuen Alice inspired a 26-episode television anime series in 2004-2005. Right Stuf released the series on DVD in North America.
