Dragon Quest X Gets PS4, NX Versions

Franchise's online game originally released on Wii, Wii U in 2013

Square Enix announced during a livestreamed presentation on Tuesday that it is bringing its Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online (Dragon Quest X: Awakening of the Five Races Online) online game to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo's upcoming "NX" platform. Square Enix did not announce a release date for the new versions.

Square Enix released Dragon Quest X on the Wii and Wii U platforms in March 2013, and on the PC in September 2013. Android and Nintendo 3DS versions have also since been released.

Square Enix is also planning a Nintendo NX release of Dragon Quest XI, the latest game in the role-playing game franchise.
