Sega Announces 7th Dragon III code:VFD RPG for 3DS

Sega Games is announcing 7th Dragon III code:VFD, the latest entry in its popular 7th Dragon role-playing game series, in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine. The game will debut on the Nintendo 3DS on October 15 for 5,990 yen (about US$49) via physical and digital releases.
Sega Games will stream a program about the game on the Niconico Live service on July 4. It will feature voice actresses Tomomi Isomura and Yū Kobayashi, character designer Shirow Miwa (Dogs (manga), sound composer Yūzō Koshiro, theme song composer sasakure.UK, and Sega Games director Masayuki Kawabata. Jūrō Watari is producing the game.

Miwa, Koshiro, and sasakure.UK also worked on the previous games in the series.
Sega released the first 7th Dragon 2020 game for the PSP in 2011, followed by the second for the PSP in 2013. The 7th Dragon 2020 games are spinoffs of the original 7th Dragon video game that Sega released on the Nintendo DS in 2009.
