Anime to premiere in July

The official website for Wooser no Sono Higurashi Mugen-hen (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life: Fantasy Edition), the third anime adaptation of Yoshiki Usa and Tomoko Fujinoki's Wooser no Sono Higurashi (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life) manga, announced on Friday that Yun*chi (Log Horizon) will perform the theme song "Lucky Girl*" for the anime. Taku Takahashi of the musical unit m-flo is producing the song, and Yūki Kawamura is writing the lyrics. The single will debut on July 15.

Yun*chi debuted as an artist in 2012, and performed the ending theme songs for the first and second Log Horizon anime. On April 15 she released an anime song cover album, for which she performed the theme songs for anime such as Card Captor Sakura, Tamako Love Story, and Kimi ni Todoke.

Wooser no Sono Higurashi: Mugen-hen will premiere in July on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels in the newly created "Ultra Super Anime Time" timeslot. It will be one of three short anime to run in the timeslot from Ultra Super Pictures (SANZIGEN Animation Studio, Ordet, Trigger, LIDEN FILMS). Crunchyroll's Twitter account posted in March that Crunchyroll would stream the third series, but the Tweet was removed shortly after.

Tomoko Fujinoki and supercell member Yoshiki Usa's Wooser no Sono Higurashi original 3D shorts center around Wooser, a mysterious mascot character who lives on the Internet and whose charming appearance belies a corrupt heart that craves money, meat, and gals.

The first anime season of Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life premiered in 2012 in Japan. The second season premiered last year, and Crunchyroll streamed both seasons.
