This year's eighth issue of Shueisha's Young Jump magazine is announcing on Thursday that a PlayStation Vita game inspired by Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul manga and its adaptation has been green-lit for release in Japan.
The game, titled Tokyo Ghoul Masquerader, will be developed by Bandai Namco Games. The game has no set release date or price at this time. The genre of the game is "adventure RPG."
A smartphone game inspired by the franchise is also in the works, and is scheduled to start service sometime this year. The second season of the Tokyo Ghoul anime, Tokyo Ghoul √A, premiered on January 8 on Tokyo MX. Funimation is streaming the series as it airs.
