Sayaka Mogi's Horror Manga Pupa Has New Project in the Works

Mogi's debut work "attains even lower depths" after 2014 TV anime

The wraparound jacket band on Sayaka Mogi's second Switch Witch manga volume is announcing on Saturday that Mogi's Pupa manga has a "new project in the works." The advertisement teases that Mogi's debut work "attains even lower depths…!!" Akita Shoten's Young Champion magazine will reveal more information.

Mogi's horror tale of "ultimate sibling love" follows a girl named Yume Hasegawa who turns into a monster. Her big brother Utsutsu becomes her living food supply.

Mogi launched the manga in the inaugural issue of Comic Earth Star in 2011. The main manga ended last December, although a bonus chapter ran in the February issue of Comic Earth Star magazine on January 12. The manga inspired an anime (pictured left) that Crunchyroll streamed into several countries as it aired in Japan earlier this year.

Update: Typo fixed. Thanks, Felicity dash
