Trinity Seven Author, Illustrator Create Spinoff Novels
posted on by Kyle Cardine
A novel based on Kenji Saitō and Akinari Nao's Trinity Seven manga will ship on November 8 in Japan. Saito himself will write the story and Nao will provide illustrations for the novel.
The novel, titled Trinity Seven - 7-nin no Masho Tsukai The Novel: Night Episode to Lost Memory (Trinity Seven The Novel: Night Episode and Lost Memory), will cover the past of the main characters featured in the series and will depict events not yet shown in the manga.
The novel will ship on the same day as the manga's tenth compiled volume. A second novelization is slated for December.
Saito and Nao launched the Trinity Seven manga in Kadokawa's (Fujimi Shobo's) Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011. Yen Press licensed the series in October.
Yen Press describes the series:
Arata Kasuga transfers to the Royal Biblia Academy to solve the mystery of the destruction that is ravaging the world and—more importantly—has stolen his cousin Hijiri from him. It's a tough road that lies ahead of Arata, but nothing's impossible when you have seven beautiful girls—each a master of her own magical art — at your side!
Seven Arcs premiered Hiroshi Nishikiori's anime adaptation on October 7, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs.
