Final Fantasy Agito+ PS Vita Game Delayed Until Further Notice
posted on by Kyle Cardine
Square Enix announced on Friday that the Final Fantasy Agito+ PlayStation Vita game will be delayed until further notice. The game was originally set for release on January 15.
Square Enix cited technical issues as reason for the delay and added they will work on the overall quality of the game as well. The company hopes to announce the new release date soon.
Final Fantasy Agito+ improves features from the Final Fantasy Agito smartphone game, and uses the control stick and buttons of the PlayStation Vita. The game cannot load save data from the smartphone version. The smartphone version launched in Japan on May 14.
The game will be free-to-play with purchasable items by digital download, and a physical version will also be released on the same day as the digital version with special download codes attached for the price of 3,800 yen (about US$38). The download codes will give access to players to exclusive items: Super rare Genbu Armor “King's Armor,” Holy Army Garb “Ice Queen,” the Cerberus magic gun, the rare Class Suits bow and arrow, Coral Sword, Heavy Lance, and the consumable item set “Initiate Welcoming Set” (which includes 10 lottery tickets and five High Potion Ss).
The Final Fantasy VII G-Bike game for iOS and Android devices was also delayed from Thursday to Friday this week.
