Shonen Jump to Launch Hi-Fi Cluster, Sporting Salt Manga

This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Ippei Gotō's Hi-Fi Cluster (pictured center left) and Yūto Kubota's Sporting Salt manga (bottom left) will launch in the magazine in September. Hi-Fi Cluster will debut in the 42nd issue on September 13, while Sporting Salt will debut in the 43rd issue on September 22.
Shinsuke Kondō will also launch an "unprecedented judo manga" series called Jūdōs (Jūdōzu) (top center) in the 41st issue on September 8. The manga will begin with a 54-page chapter with a color opening page.
Viz Media had announced that it will launch a "Jump Start" initiative on September 8. Under this initiative, Viz's digital English anthology Weekly Shonen Jump will run the first three chapters of "almost every single" new series that debuts in Shueisha's original Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan. Viz confirmed that three manga series will debut in September.
