Sekai Project Starts Fault Milestone One Visual Novel Kickstarter
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
English localization group Sekai Project launched a Kickstarter campaign for the English translation of Alice in Dissonance's Fault Milestone One -directors cut- visual novel on Wednesday. The campaign is looking to raise US$5,000 by July 18 and notes that funding will also go to the original doujin circle to add extra cutscenes and improve character sprites. If funding surpasses US$5,000, Alice in Dissonance is planning to publish an artbook and port the game to mobile platforms.
Sekai Project describes the story:
After 60 years of peace, the mana crafting civilization Ruzenheid came to an end. An unknown enemy attacked, and destroyed, Ruzenheid Castle. Princess Selfine was able to escape the burning ruins with the help of Ritona, her childhood friend, who created a teleportation craft. However, instead of finding salvation, they found themselves deep in a strange forest.
This is their story – a story of strangers in a strange realm trying to make it back home.
Sekai Project will publish the finished English version via Steam for Windows, OS X, and Linux systems. The company is also running a Kickstarter campaign for Isuna Hasekura's visual novel World End Economica. That campaign successfully reached its main goal and several stretch goals with 20 days to go.
The company will have a limited physical release of PacoProject's PacaPlus visual novel at Anime Expo followed by a Steam release.
Alice in the Dissonance is currently developing Fault Milestone Two.
