Chiyomaru Shikura (Steins;Gate, Chaos;HEAd) acted as general producer, and Yuusuke Kozaki (Fire Emblem: Awakening, No More Heroes) designed the characters. Geto Koyamashi (No More Heroes) supervised and created mechanical designs.
The game will ship for the PS Vita in Japan on July 31, with a normal copy retailing for 6,800 yen (about US$68) and a limited edition copy bundled with a production materials booklet and a product code to download an original short anime costing 8,800 yen (about US$88). The Liberation Maiden shooter game received a worldwide release for iOS devices last March. The game was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS as part of the Guild01 game compilation with animation by Studio BONES.
