Singer Natsuko Aso Puts Music Career on Hold

Singer and entertainer Natsuko Aso announced on Sunday that she will be putting her singing career on hold. Her agency explained that she will be focusing on her career as a talent on television shows and similar areas. To that end, she will continue appearing on NTV's morning program ZIP!
Aso will take part in the "15th anniversary Live Lantis Matsuri 2014 ~Tsunagu ze! AniSon no 'Wa'!~" concert in Tokyo on September 14, and then suspending her music career.
Aso released "Brand new world," the opening theme song for the Shin Mazinger Shōgeki! Z-Hen television anime, as her debut CD single in 2009. She also performed theme songs for Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Modern Magic Made Simple, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Demon King Daimao, MM!, the live-action Negima! Magister Negi Magi, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Dai-Ni-Maku, Walkure Romanze, and Yawaraka Sangokushi Tsukisase!! Ryofuko-chan. She acted in the live-action television series Cat Street and Shōkōjo Seira (Little Princess Seira) as well as other works.
Aso made her announcement at an event to commemorate the release of her third album, My Starlit Point. As word spread online about her announcement, fans expressed their sadness and said they would continue to support her.
