Viz Offers Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke: The First Story Book

Viz Media announced on Thursday that it will release Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke: The First Story book. It also detailed the release plans for The Art of Princess Mononoke book.
Miyazaki wrote and illustrated Princess Mononoke: The First Story in 1980, while he conceived the idea that would eventually become the Princess Mononoke film. The oversized book features watercolor art and a story that is different from what he presented in the film.

The hardcover book will retail for US$34.99 in October.
The The Art of Princess Mononoke art book is newly translated with interviews, concept sketches, and character art. The book will retail for US$34.99 in August.
Viz Media previously released Miyazaki and Tsugiko Kubo's My Neighbor Totoro: A Novel last year.
