'Top Secret' Pikachu Game Teased in Preview Video

A preview video for NHK's Professional Shigoto no Ryūgi (Professional Work Style) program, which will feature Pokémon producer and CEO of The Pokémon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara, offers a sneak peek of an upcoming "top secret" Pikachu game. Shots of the game in development show a hand holding a magnifying glass above Pikachu on a Nintendo 3DS screen, and motion-capture software being used to control the Pokémon's facial expressions.
According to the episode summary, Ishihara began development on the game this summer.
Past games starring Pikachu include Pokémon: Yellow where Pikachu is the game's starter Pokemon, Hey You, Pikachu! for the Nintendo 64, Pokémon Channel for the Nintendo GameCube, PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure and PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond for the Nintendo Wii.
Ishihara is scheduled to appear on NHK's Professional Shigoto no Ryugi program on October 28.
