Knights of Sidonia Anime Briefly Listed in Spring 2014

The official Twitter account for Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine briefly reported that the anime adaptation of Tsutomu Nihei's Knights of Sidonia manga will premiere next spring. The tweet has since been deleted.
The anime will be directed by Kobun Shizuno (G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, Detective Conan movie) with scripts written by Sadayuki Murai (Steamboy, Millennium Actress) and character designs by Yūki Moriyama (Street Fighter x Tekken, Dino Dominion). The series will be animated at POLYGON PICTURES.
