Viz's Weekly Shonen Jump to Publish Cross Manage Extra Chapter

This year's 46th issue of Viz Media's digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that it will publish an extra chapter of KAITO's Cross Manage lacrosse manga in the next issue on October 21. Shueisha will publish the extra chapter in Japan in the Autumn issue of the Jump NEXT! magazine on Tuesday.
The extra chapter will focus on what happens over the summer between Sakurai and Misora, and will reveal the secret of Misora's hair pin.
The series follows the story of aimless male student Sakurai, who meets Toyoguchi, the captain of the girls' lacrosse team. She recruits him as the team's manager, and her enthusiasm for the sport starts to win him over. Cross Manage premiered in English as part of Viz Media's Shonen Jump Alpha online anthology last October. KAITO ended the manga in July.
