posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Namco Bandai Games began streaming the English Tokyo Game Show trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z game on Thursday. The dubbed trailer includes English dialogue for the God of Destruction Birus and his companion Uis. Both characters starred in this year's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film, which has not been released in North America.
The game will ship in North America for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox 360 in early 2014. Namco Bandai Games has confirmed that the game will also be released in Europe, Latin America, and Brazil. The PS3 and XBox 360 versions will be available in retail in North America, while the PS Vita version will be download only.
The North American edition will include the Naruto's "Sennin Mode" costume for Goku as a day one bonus.
In the "team melee action" game, up to four players can play cooperatively, or eight players can engage in a massive battle royale. The game will feature four different battle types, and a full-featured solo play. The game has online multiplayer support, and players can work together on attacks such as "Synchro Rush" or boosting each other's health via "Revive Soul."
The game will also feature Super Saiyan God, the new form that appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
