posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The official website for the anime Fate/Zero anime began streaming a promotional video for the film adaptation of ufotable's Fate/Zero Café manga on Friday.
The film will premiere with the Kara no Kyōkai - the Garden of sinners anime franchise's Fukan Fūkei 3D film at the ufotable Dining restaurant in Tokyo's Shinjuku ward on July 13. ufotable will hold special screening events for the films that feature prize drawings and a menu inspired inspired by Fukan Fūkei until July 19. ufotable Dining began accepting email reservations for the events on Saturday.
A second series of joint screenings will begin at the restaurant on August 8 with a new menu inspired by Fate/Zero Café. ufotable Dining will begin accepting reservations for the second screening series on August 1.
Fans who attend a screening can receive a stamp on their ticket stub and an original postcard with illustrations from both films. Three "special signature mini boards" will be given away to selected stamped ticket stub holders during each event period. Boards for the July events will feature Fukan Fūkei illustrations, and boards for the August events will feature Fate/Zero Café illustrations.
The original Fate/Zero Café four-panel manga re-imagines the cast of the Fate/Zero light novel and anime as cute super-deformed characters who open a cafe, led by Saber as the manager. (This manga is not to be confused with the Fate/Zero promotional campaigns that ufotable has held in its real-life cafés.) The manga has been running in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Newtype magazine since last August.
