posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) revealed (near the 41-minute mark in the below video) on Tuesday that he is planning a project intended for children. Urobuchi appeared as a guest on the debut episode of the "Yoshida Hisanori ga Anime de Takuranderu" web program hosted by Nippon Broadcasting System announcer Hisanori Yoshida.
Urobuchi served as head writer for the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime series and wrote the Fate/Zero novel that inspired a 2011 anime series. In addition, Urobuchi drafted the story for the Psycho-Pass anime that premiered in Japan last October. Gekijō-ban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica [Shinpen]: Hangyaku no Monogatari (Puella Magi Madoka Magica New Feature: Rebellion), the third Puella Magi Madoka Magica film written by Urobuchi, will open in Japan this fall.
