Manga artist Masami Yuuki is revisiting his Kyūkyoku Chōjin R manga series 25 years after the series ended in 1987. Yuuki wrote a 24-page one-shot for Big Comic Spirits following R. Ichiro Tanaka. The 24-page story will be published in this year's 49th issue of Big Comic Spirits.
The original gag strip manga ran in Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday and followed Ichiro, a fifteen year-old android boy who begins going to a Japanese school. The manga was adapted into a 90-minute OAV in 1991.
