Kia Asamiya Launches Sports Car Manga Aika ga Hashiru!

Creator of Silent Möbius & My Favorite Carrera draws monthly vignettes of cars

Manga creator Kia Asamiya (Silent Möbius, Dark Angel, My Favorite Carrera/Kanojo no Carrera) and his Studio TRON launched a monthly series of short stories called Aika ga Hashiru! Bijo-ning Car Drive!! on e-CarLife.net's free website DRiViSiON on Tuesday. Aika Misaki, a high school girl and car racer, profiles a different sports car in each installment; the first installment is devoted to the Lotus Exige.

Asamiya is canvasing his readers for cars to cover in the manga's future installments, and contributors will receive reproductions of the color opening pages as thanks.
