Japanese game developer Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) unveiled its Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradox (God and the Destiny Revolution Paradox) game on Wednesday. In regard to the game, NIS CEO Sohei Niikawa also said, "It isn't decided yet, but a television anime project is already advancing. We want to realize that somehow."
NIS is producing the game as its first 20th anniversary commemorative title. The creative team behind NIS' Disgaea role-playing game series is planning and developing the project. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel illustrator Noizi Ito is serving as the game's character designer, and Yousei Teikoku (The Future Diary, Katanagatari theme songs) is providing music.
The story will center on seven angels and a high school student who suddenly becomes a god. He grows into an adult while working with the angels to grant wishes.
NIS also announced the "Project: Arcadia" and "Project: D" game projects at its 20th anniversary press conference.
