Excel Saga's Rikudou Launches New Manga

Kimi to Batsu (Kari) slated for April 28 debut
Koushi Rikudou, author of the Excel Saga manga series, will be starting a new manga serialization in Shonengahosha's Young King Ours magazine. Entitled Kimi to Batsu (Kari) (You and Punishment, working title), it is a gag comedy manga in an absurdist style. The first chapter, which will be 30 pages long and feature a number of color pages, will premiere in the April 28 issue of the magazine.
Rikudou's Excel Saga manga is currently being released in English by Viz Media, and its anime adaptation was recently re-licensed by FUNimation after ADV Films, which acquired the title in 2000, shut down in 2009.
