Funimation.com to Launch Mobile Video App in March

Funimation announced at its Katsucon panel on Saturday that the company will launch a dedicated mobile video app for its Funimation.com video platform. The app, which will be available in late March, will allow users to view Funimation.com content on mobile devices. The company did not specify which mobile platform the apps would be available on.
The apps will be available in free or paid versions. Both allow Elite Video Subscription holders to view all content on Funimation.com with no ads. Without the subscription, the free app will include promotional episodes, clips, trailers and will feature banner ads, while the paid version will feature whole series with no banner ads. The pricing for the paid app has not yet been decided.
