AnimeFest to Host Writer Dai Sato in Dallas This Weekend

The AnimeFest convention will host Dai Satō, the Japanese screenwriter whose credits range from Cowboy Bebop and Eureka Seven to the Tekken: Blood Vengeance film and the live-action Casshern film, for the fifth time during this coming Labor Day weekend in Dallas.
Sato's credits include writing on Ergo Proxy, series script editing on Eureka 7 (for which he also scripted 12 episodes), and contributing to the scenario and series script editing of the original video anime series Freedom. He also co-wrote "The Package" segment of Halo Legends and has scripted episodes of series including Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (both seasons), Samurai Champloo, Wolf's Rain, and Eden of the East.
AnimeFest's other guests include Bowling for Soup, Terri Doty, Leah Clark, Cherami Leigh, J. Michael Tatum, Greg Ayres, Bruce Lewis, Amelie Belcher, Two Lumps, David Doub, Jan Scott-Frazier, Spike Spencer, Carrie Keranen, and Cristina Vee.
The convention runs from September 2 to September 5 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel.
