The official Twitter account for Kei and Gonzo's Copihan anime project announced on Saturday that the 85-second promotional video for the anime has been uploaded to the Nico Nico Douga website. (To turn off the display of superimposed comments, select the word balloon icon on the bottom right corner of the video.) The video is a low-quality test upload of the video that announced the 2011 anime at last week's Machi Asobi event. The slapstick school comedy is set in Tokyo in 2034. Hatsune Miku illustrator Kei has been drawing the manga version in Jive's Monthly Comic Rush magazine since the January 2011 issue, which shipped last November.
Bandai's Lantis label began streaming a 90-second preview of the music video for Sayaka Sasaki's Nichijou (My Ordinary Life) ending theme song "Zzz" on the YouTube website last week. The CD single for the song goes on sale in Japan on May 25.
Keiichi Arawi's original manga revolves around a group of female students living what would be a normal high school life, except that it also includes a talking cat, robots, deer-wrestling, and other strange anomalies. Since last month, the media distribution website Crunchyroll has been streaming Kyoto Animation's television adaptation outside Japan as it airs.
