Satoshi Kon Films, Black Butler Screened in NYC

Perfect Blue, Paprika at Lincoln Center, Black Butler in SoHo
The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced that it will be presenting a program titled "In Memoriam: Satoshi Kon" on Saturday, December 22. The program will include screenings of two of the late director's anime films, 1997's Perfect Blue and 2006's Paprika. The movies will screen at 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., respectively; tickets will go on sale on December 9. The ticket prices are to be announced later.
Funimation has also announced that it has partnered with Forbidden Planet and the SoHo Gallery for Digital Art to screen six episodes of the television anime Black Butler. The event is free, and also features a cosplay contest. Online pre-registration is available for the contest.
