Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, August 16-22

The Oricon market survey firm reports that the second Blu-ray Disc volume of the K-ON!! television anime series sold 28,000 copies to top Japan's overall Blu-ray Disc chart for the August 16-22 week. The entire K-On franchise has now sold 311,000 copies on Blu-ray.
The Blu-ray Disc for Kou Shibasaki's Live Tour 2010 ~Live Para~ landed at #9, while Maaya Sakamoto's 15th Anniversary Live Concert "Gift" at Nippon Budōkan dropped from #3 to #10. The live-action film version of the Tekken fighting game also fell from #5 to #12.
