Ryō Kurashina's Jotei Kaoruko to get Live-Action TV Drama

The Sports Hochi newspaper reports that Japanese television station TV Asahi will debut a live-action drama adaptation of Ryō Kurashina's Jotei Kaoruko manga in April.
Kurashina's other works include Ai Doll, Yaoh, and Jō-ō; Yaoh and Jō-ō had already been turned into a live-action dramas in 2005. Kushina's Teiō and Jō-ō Virgin - Roppongi night GP part II and have also been given a live-action drama adaptation. Jotei Kaoruko is a loose continuation of Kurashina's Jotei manga, which was also turned into a live-action drama in 2007.
Jotei Kaoruko follows Saya, a woman who becomes a Ginza hostess right after high school, and her search for her mother, whom she's been separated from her entire life. Model and actress Mirei Kiritani (Otomen, Hana-Kimi), will star as Saya in her first leading role.
